Stenny started well, zipping the ball around crisply, but Mark Burchill’s side settled in and went ahead in the 20th minute when the Bulgarian trialist drove the ball past Dean Shaw after being set up by a lovely reverse pass by Liam Buchanan. The provider became scorer ten minutes later rifling home a second in 30 minutes after a superb Ross Millen crossfield pass set him up and then Millen himself fired in a third eight minutes later.
The second half saw both teams make a number of changes with Livingston making ten changes at half time whilst the Warriors also made ten throughout the half. This gave the Under 20s in the squad a run out and they equipped themselves well until it came to finishing with the Livingston trialist keeper rarely troubled though he was tested by efforts from Alan Smith and Alan Cook.
