Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and Spa- A perfect partner
I am delighted to announce the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and Spa as the principle sponsor for the Forth Valley Football Academy for season 2015-16. The Inchyra Hotel and Spa will become the first sponsor we have worked with since the inception of the academy in July 2013. They will support the short-term and long-term progress of the FVFA and will also host 2 functions per year within the venue.
Sourcing a principle sponsor was always going to be challenging but I was also very keen to find the right partner for the FVFA The hotel is one of the finest in central Scotland with an award winning Scottish Steak restaurant as well as fantastic gym and spa facilities. It has a great reputation throughout Scotland as provider of great customer service, luxury accommodation and quality food. The Hotel is also highly regarded as a wedding and conference venue and this positive reputation nationwide makes it a perfect partner for the FVFA.
I would like to thank Stuart Maxwell who has recently relocated to take up the position as General Manager of the Hotel. When I met with Stuart I could tell immediately he was very interested in supporting the FVFA. He is a very positive individual with a fantastic track record of supporting local communities and youth football in particular. I feel very fortunate to have the support of Stuart and his team for the season ahead. Now that we have the partnership in place I will be doing my very best to entice academies from down south up to play against our age groups where they can enjoy the peace of mind of their accommodation being of the highest possible standard.

‘We are delighted at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa to have teamed up with Jamie and his team at FVFA. I am always keen to develop any relationship that sees youngsters from our local community being helped to fulfil their dreams. After meeting with Jamie and seeing the facilities and plans that FVFA have in place to develop young footballing talent I was very happy to form a partnership that will help them achieve their objectives and continually improve their plans. I look forward to working with the team at FVFA as well as welcoming them and their visitors to the hotel and spa’
The FVFA are now looking for a shirt sponsor for season 2015-16 as we aim to further enhance the quality of provision for our young players. Any interested company should email fvfa2013@gmail.com in the first instance. Official shirt sponsorship of the FVFA would cover all 6 age groups U11-17 home and away strips. The strips will be worn by our players throughout the season in the Scottish FA Club Academy Scotland Elite games programme, a total of over 200 games at venues the length and breadth of the country against opposition such as Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen.
