The Football club would like publicly to take this opportunity to thank two of our main sponsors Wright & MacLennan and Greenfields for loaning their machinery and workforce to clear in excess of two hundred tons of snow from our main pitch and surrounds to allow Saturdays game against Arbroath to go ahead, they were ably supported by our groundsman Stewart Orr (Oscar).
The task took all week and just when we thought the work had been completed we had another fresh fall of snow on Thursday and the operation had to be repeated a second time.
The club would also like thank all the staff from both Companies for their hard work throughout the week it was much appreciated.
