It was gold for midfielder Thomas Halleran as the Stenhousemuir first team took to the track on Saturday evening.
The squad swapped their football boots for racing shoes in the first team away day of the season. This followed a training session and pre-season friendly earlier in the day in the hot conditions.
In the hotly contested races, Thomas came out on top, followed by Graeme Smith taking silver, and Allan Cook bronze. We won’t mention who came last!
The first team squad were joined by the club Chairman Iain McMenemy who finished a respectable fifth. However, it is understood that the players who finished above him are to have their contracts revoked (only kidding!).
