Stenhousemuir Football Club are delighted to confirm that Gary Naysmith has been named Glen’s League One Manager of the Month for October.

The Warriors enjoyed an unbeaten month under Naysmith’s guidance, picking up two draws and a pair of impressive victories across league and KDM Evolution Trophy action.

The month began with a commanding 3-1 home win against Montrose, followed by a dominant 4-0 victory against Motherwell B in the KDM Evolution Trophy, a result which saw Stenhousemuir continue their flawless record in the competition.

A challenging three-game away run then followed, with trips to Cove Rangers, Alloa Athletic, and Queen of the South.

The Warriors produced an outstanding display at Balmoral Stadium in difficult conditions in the North East, defeating Cove Rangers 1-0 courtesy of a Matty Aitken penalty on an afternoon which marked Gary Naysmith’s 100th league match in charge of the club.

This was then followed by a hard-fought 0-0 draw in a local derby away to Alloa Athletic, before a dramatic 1-1 draw at Palmerston Park, where Ross Taylor struck deep into stoppage time to earn a well-deserved point against Queen of the South.

This award marks yet another Glen’s Manager of the Month award for Gary, having previously collecting the honour in February 2023, September 2023, December 2023, January 2024 and February 2025.

Speaking on his award, Gary Naysmith said: “The award is recognition for the consistency that the players have shown since the start of the season.

“Their efforts, alongside the work done both on and off the pitch from the staff, are why I have received this award, so my thanks go out to everyone who has contributed to our season so far”

Everyone at Stenhousemuir Football Club congratulates Gary and his coaching staff on this well-deserved recognition.
