Stenhousemuir Football Club can confirm that Corey O’Donnell has completed a permanent transfer to Stranraer F.C.
Martin Christie, Head of Football Operations, said:
“On behalf of the management and coaching staff, we’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Corey for his time at Stenhousemuir. Having joined us from Broomhill in July 2024—after an impressive 16?goal season in the Lowland League—Corey quickly settled into life at Ochilview and became a valuable part of our first-team squad.
Over the course of the 2024–25 season, Corey made 42 appearances for the club, scoring 9 league goals. He delivered some standout performances, including a memorable hat-trick in a dominant win over Dumbarton and a composed finish against Queen of the South, which underlined his sharp instincts in front of goal.
His contribution on and off the pitch was appreciated by everyone at the club, and we were pleased to see him develop and adapt so well to senior football at League One level.
When Stranraer approached us to discuss a potential deal, we felt the opportunity for Corey to secure regular first-team football was the right move for him at this stage of his career. We negotiated a fee for his permanent transfer and I’d like to thank everyone at Stranraer for their professionalism throughout the process—they’ve been a pleasure to deal with.
We wish Corey all the very best for the future. He leaves with our thanks and best wishes—and he’ll always be welcome back at Ochilview.”
Everyone at Stenhousemuir FC thanks Corey for his dedication and impact during his time with the club and wishes him every success with Stranraer and beyond.
