The league leaders return to action tomorrow as they play their first game in two weeks when they host Bonnyrigg Rose at Ochilview.

The Warriors will be hoping to build on their good 3-0 victory down in Stranraer two weeks ago. Goals from Matty Aiken and Matty Yates gave the Warriors a two-goal lead at half time then Euan O’Reilly wrapped the scoring in the second half. The victory was Stenhousemuir’s first in over 8 years in Stranraer. It also put the Warriors top of the league.

Gary Naysmith previewed tomorrow’s game saying “It’s always tough to play against Bonnyrigg. I have played them 3 times since I came to the club, all have been decided by 1 goal. They play a different system with the 3 at the back so it will be a tough game”.

The sides have already met once this season at New Dundass Park where Stenhousemuir came out 1-0 victors. A Nicky Jameson goal separated the sides back in September.

The two sides have met on 5 occasions, the Warriors have won 3 and drawn 2. All 3 wins came away from home so Stenhousemuir will be looking to pick up their first ever victory against Bonnyrigg Rose at Ochilview.

The Rose currently sit in 5th place and are back to winning ways after their dip of form at the start of November. Robbie Horn’s men have played twice since the Warriors last played competitively. They defeated East Fife at home 4-2 and they also progressed to the 4th round of the Scottish Cup defeating Albion Rovers 1-0 at Cliftonhill.

The Warriors will have to watch out for the league’s second to goal scorer Neil Martynuick who has 7 goals from left back already this season.
