Our Adult ASN Football Team competed in the Nil by Mouth Cup yesterday at Toryglen. There was 17 teams taking part, with our group consisting of Dundee United, EE Bears and I Fit.
The team played 6, winning 2 and drawing 1 in what proved to be a competitive group, this included a 1-0 win over EE Bears who play in the Scottish Mental Health & Wellbeing League Premiership. Legendary football commentator Archie MacPherson was on hand to give out the medals and the winning trophy – which was won by Partick Thistle Reds.
Overall, it was a great experience for the group as they continue their journey as a team. They train every Friday at Ochilview from 3:30pm – 5pm. You can read more on them here.
