VOLUNTEER WITH STENHOUSEMUIR FC COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
Are you passionate about Stenhousemuir?

Whether you’ve volunteered before or are looking for a way to get involved, we encourage you to consider joining our team and making a positive impact in our community.
All our volunteering opportunities require no special skills, knowledge or experience. If you are interested, reliable, and want to help, we would love to hear from you.

WALK LEADERS
Lead the way to making Stenhousemuir & Larbert a healthier community – become a Walk Leader with Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation!
We are looking for enthusiastic local people who enjoy being outside, with others, and who are organised and reliable. If that describes you, we would love you to become a volunteer in our brand-new programme.
Volunteers will complete Walk Leader training and be fully supported by full-time members of staff. Walks will be start and finish at Ochilview Park, where Walk Leaders and walkers can enjoy a hot drink and refreshments together.
Becoming a volunteer walk leader lets you make a difference in people’s lives, develop new skills, and stay active while exploring your community.
Imagine a Stenhousemuir where people are walking together, not just towards better health, but towards a stronger community. Organised health walks spark a ripple effect. They get people moving, which not only improves individual fitness but also fosters social connections during the walks. This combats isolation, builds a sense of belonging, and creates a more vibrant, supportive Stenhousemuir for everyone.

MEN IN GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP
Help men who have suffered loss – become a Men in Grief support group facilitator with Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation.
We are looking for empathetic, patient communicators who are looking to make a difference in the life of men who are struggling with grief. If that describes you, we would love you to become a volunteer in our brand-new programme.
Volunteers need no special training to facilitate this important peer support group. They will be supported by full-time members of staff – as well as having access to fully-trained counsellors. Our group will run once per week, likely in the early evening.
Becoming a Men in Grief facilitator will make a huge impact in our community. You will help men through a tough time. You’ll see them grow stronger, learn new skills yourself, and gain a lot of satisfaction.
Stenhousemuir & Larbert should be a place where men do not have to deal with grief alone. By offering a Men in Grief support group, we can start a chain reaction of healing in our community. Men will have a safe space to share their pain, find comfort in shared experience, and build connections with others who understand.
This not only strengthens individual well-being but fosters a more supportive environment for men and their families, making Stenhousemuir a kinder, more understanding place for everyone.

PARENTING MULTIPLES SUPPORT GROUP
Support parents of pre-school twins, triplets (or more!) – volunteer at our Parenting Multiples Group with Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation!
We are looking for people who are energetic, fun, and want to help parents and pre-school children. Being a parent can be tiring – being a parent with multiple pre-school children can be flat out exhausting, and our volunteers will be offering them some much needed support.
Volunteers will be supported by experienced volunteers and full-time members of staff and need no special training to facilitate this important peer support group. Our group runs on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.
Become a Parenting Multiples volunteer and you’ll provide a supportive space for these amazing families, while developing leadership skills and gaining deep satisfaction from helping others thrive.
Our Parenting Multiples group strengthens our community by building stronger families. By reducing stress and supporting parents of twins, triplets and more, we create a ripple effect of well-being that benefits not just the children, but also the mental health of parents. Doing so makes Stenhousemuir a healthier place to live and grow up.
