The Warriors make the 216-mile round trip to Satir Park to take on Stranraer on Saturday in the cinch league 2.

Stenhousemuir will be hoping to build on their impressive 2-0 victory against the league leaders, Peterhead on Tuesday evening. Mikey Anderson opened the scoring midway through the first half and just 5 minute later Andam Brown scored potentially, a goal of the season contender as he curled an effort into the top right corner of the net.

The victory moved the Warriors into second place in cinch league 2 and just one goal off Peterhead.

Assistant manager, Brown Ferguson previewed Saturday’s game saying, “We need to keep focusing on the game we’re playing. Keep setting targets. We obviously on very comfortably the first time we played them, but we know it’sdifferent game on Saturday and one we know will be difficult.”

Mikey Anderson also previewed the Stranraer game saying, “It’s going to be a completely different game down there, they’ve been up and down in form bu we will face the challenge head on.

Stranraer have not been on the best run of form in the league having only won one of their last 1 of their last 7 league games. They currently sit in 6th place in the league.

The blues were unlucky to be defeated up in Peterhead at the weekend as a late Joe McKee free kick saw them loose the match 3-2.

Stenhousemuir have already played Stranraer once this season where the Warriors came out 5-0 victors at Ochilview.

The Warriors will have to watch out for their joint top scorers, Tam Orr, and James Dolan.

Stranraer slightly edge the head-to-head record with the blues winning 86 to Stenhousemuir’s 57 wins. There have also been 40 draws played out.
