League leaders, Stenhousemuir return to Ochilview on Saturday where we take on Clyde on matchday 8 in the cinch league 2.

The Warriors climbed to the top of the cinch league 2 last Saturday where an Edin Lynch second half header was enough to separate the sides against Bonnyrigg Rose at New Dundas Park. Gary Naysmith previewed tomorrow’s game after the Bonnyrigg game. “I think it’ll be a difficult game. I think every team can beat everyone on their day. They’ve brought a few players in in recent weeks which can give them a lift.”

Nicky Jameson also previewed tomorrow’s game, “There’s no easy games. They’ll be looking to build up. We can’t get carried away. It’s only 7 games in and we can’t get carried away.

The Warriors will be looking to continue their stellar defensive record this season having already picked up 6 clean sheets in 7 games.

Ross Taylor begins some time on the sidelines as he recovers from a shoulder injury that he picked up last week in the win over Bonnyrigg. New signing Mark Ferrie is available for selection following his loan transfer from Motherwell this week.

The Warriors do not have the best record in this fixture with only 14 wins, 19 draws and 34 defeats in 67 matches. The last match was a 3-2 defeat at Ochilview on the 10th of March 2018.

After being defeated by Annan Athletic in the league 1 playoff, Clyde have not had the best start to life in cinch league 2. They sit at the bottom of the table with just one league win this season. That win came last weekend at home to Elgin where they won 2-1 with goals from Rennie and King.

Brian McLean’s men have also picked a couple of draws this season as well. A 1-1 draw with Spartans in the opening game and a 0-0 draw at home to Forfar.
