We’re thrilled to be able to announce James Berry as our latest summer signing.

James is a central midfielder and has spent the last four seasons at the University of Stirling FC, and leaves Stirling having led the team to cup success and fourth place finish in the Lowland League as club captain.

Prior to his spell at University of Stirling, he made his way up through the Raith Rovers ranks.

Gary Naysmith caught up with the website on his latest signing.

“We actually agreed the deal to sign James around a month ago but waited to announce it until after his final game with the university which ended with them winning the cup on Sunday.

“James is a good all round central midfield player and at 23, is a good age. He has been at university for the last 4 years but before this he gained league experience from his time with Raith Rovers.

“Last season, James captained the University team and started 61 games out of a possible 71 games, scoring 23 goals and making 13 assists. We feel he will add something different to our midfield options and look forward to working with him next season.”
