For the final time this season, we’re in action tomorrow as we welcome Annan Athletic to Ochilview Park. Following last week’s results, we are unable to make the promotion play-offs, whilst Annan find themselves in a battle to finish 3rd against East Fife. Whoever finishes in that position will take on Dumbarton in the Semi-Final, whilst the other will take on Clyde, who finished 9th in League One.
The 3 meetings this season have finished 1 win each and a draw. The latest match saw a Ross Forbes stunner snatch a late win for the Warriors at Galabank. The other meeting in Annan finished 2-1 to the hosts back in August. Braces from Sean Crighton and Tommy Goss saw the Ochilview encounter finish 2-2, that match also saw Tommy Muir receive a red card in the first half.
Come 5pm on Saturday our season will be brought to a close, with finishes in 5th, 6th and 7th still a possibility. Following the conclusion of the season, we’ll aim to bring any squad updates as soon as we can.
