We’re on the road for the final time in the league tomorrow as we make the trip down the west coast to face Stranraer. The Blues currently sit 7th in the league, 3 points below ourselves in 6th and still could be drawn into the relegation play-off position. Stranraer recently replaced Jamie Hamill as manager following an 8-0 defeat to East Fife. They looked to the Fifers for their new manager with player/coach Scott Agnew taking the reigns at Stair Park.

The two sides go into tomorrow following contrasting results last Saturday. The Warriors were beaten 3-1 away to Albion Rovers, whilst Stranraer won 3-1 against Elgin in the South West.

We were beaten on our last visit to Stair Park, with the Blues winning 3-2 but both games at Ochilview have ended in the Warriors favour. 3-1 and 2-1 were the scores. Our record at Stair Park, unfortunately, isn’t the greatest. Our last victory there was on the 7th of November 2015. Goals from Mark Gilhaney and Jason Scotland earned a 2-1 victory that day.

Both sides will head into the match knowing that a win will either keep their play-off hopes alive or end any chance of finishing in the bottom spot. The Warriors are sitting 3 points outside the promotion play-offs and a win of any kind will see us take it to the final game against Annan Athletic.
