With the eyes of the world on Scotland right now, the focus is on the environment, as Glasgow hosts the UN Climate Change Conference: COP26.
Sport could play a crucial role in tackling climate change, but will those in football step up to make the changes needed? It’s time to start the conversation.
This Monday, 8th November, the Stenhousemuir Chairman, Iain McMenemy, will be taking part in Kicking Off the Climate Conversation in Football, a panel discussion looking at climate change and sustainability in football. This will be held in Glasgow at the Strathclyde University Union, starting at 7pm. The event will be chaired by world-renowned climate journalist and former president and COO of Conde Nast, Wolfgang Blau.
