Stenhousemuir Football Club can confirm that Scott McGill will depart Ochilview this summer.
Scott joined the Warriors from Dundalk during the 2024/25 season and went on to make 58 appearances in maroon, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
Among those goals was his memorable long-range strike against Montrose in a 3-1 victory at Ochilview during the 2025/26 William Hill League One campaign, a goal which claimed the Club’s Goal of the Year award.
Scott also played his part in a successful period for the club, helping the Warriors secure promotion through the William Hill Championship Play-Offs at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Director of Football Martin Christie said: “Since joining us from Dundalk, Scott has been a mainstay of the team culminating in playing 44 games this year in our promotion winning season.
“Unfortunately, after discussions regarding next season, Scott has decided to move on. We wish Scott all the very best in the future and he is welcome back at Ochilview anytime.”
Scott McGill added: “I’ve loved my time at Stenhousemuir and it’s probably the most I’ve enjoyed my football in a long time.
“I’d like to thank all the supporters for their backing, as well as everyone at the club for making my time here so enjoyable.”
Everyone at Stenhousemuir Football Club would like to thank Scott for his efforts and commitment during his time at Ochilview and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.
