Creag Little signs for the Warriors
Stenhousemuir FC is delighted to announce the signing of Creag Little.
The 6 foot 4 left sided centre back joins the club after spending last season at Queens Park. The 27 year old came through the ranks at St Mirren before joining Greenock Morton for season 2011-12. He made his professional debut for the ‘Ton’ in August 2011 but was released at the end of that season. Little subsequently joined Largs Thistle where he became a key player for the club over a 6 year year spell including reaching the Junior Scottish Cup Final in 2019 where Largs were defeated by tournament favourites Auchinleck Talbot. Little made a total of 25 appearances for Queens Park last season.
Manager Davie Irons welcomed his newest addition.
‘We have been in contract with Creag over the last couple of weeks in the hope of securing his signature. He is a powerful centre back and being left sided he gives us that element of balance which we see as important as we continue to put next seasons squad together. He did well last year in the games he played and we believe he can build on that this season and improve further as a player. Both myself and Kevin are really happy that Creag has chosen Stenhousemuir FC. We are both really excited about the squad we are building and can’t wait to get started’.
Creag Little spoke to Warriors TV about his aspirations for the season ahead.
‘I am delighted to have signed and can’t wait to get started. I am looking forward to working with the Manager Davie Irons and Assistant Goldie. I have joined a club looking to challenge to win the league next season and I will do my best to help us achieve that goal’.
Welcome to the Warriors Creag.
