An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stenhousemuir Football Club CIC. Stenhousemuir FC CIC became the first professional football club within the UK to adopt the status of Community Interest Company. The club is a not for profit organisation that must act for the good of the community. The club recently won the League 1 playoff final and returns to SPFL League 1 for season 2018-19
The club are inviting applications for the position of Club Doctor for season 2018-19. This is a voluntary role with the possibility of paid expenses. Scottish FA criteria requires clubs to have a named Doctor present at all home matches to provide medical cover when required to first team players. The club has a physiotherapist pitch side at all times to treat players with minor injuries, knocks, cuts and strains as well as assisting players through injury rehabilitation. Paramedics and first aiders are also present at all home games.
The commitment required therefore is approximately 22 games per calendar year between the months of July 2018 to May 2019. Games mostly take place on a Saturday with a 3pm kick off with occasional midweek fixtures. Stenhousemuir FC home games take place at Ochilview Park, Stenhousemuir, FK5 4QL.
