Match Report

Stenhousemuir make the journey to Galabank on Tuesday evening to face Annan Athletic in the KDM Evolution Trophy, with kick off at 7.45pm, as they look to build on their positive start in the competition.

The Warriors opened their campaign with an impressive 2-1 win over Rangers B at Ochilview, thanks to goals from Scott McGill and Archie Graham, with the latter netting his first for the club since joining from Queen’s Park B in June.

At the weekend, Stenny were held to a 0-0 draw against Queen of the South in the William Hill League One. The Warriors showed resilience and attacking threat, with Scott McGill striking the post and Archie Graham producing a crucial block to secure a hard-fought point.

Annan come into the tie on the back of a dramatic 4-3 defeat to Dumbarton in the William Hill League Two at Galabank. Despite falling 4-0 behind, Willie Gibson’s side battled back with goals from Max Kilsby, Aidan Smith and Tommy Muir in a late rally.

Both sides last met in March in the William Hill League One, when Stenhousemuir recorded a 2-0 victory at Galabank. Captain Gregor Buchanan’s towering header and a composed finish from Euan O’Reilly sealed all three points.

Speaking to Warriors TV after Saturday’s match, skipper Gregor Buchanan said: “We’re trying get through that group as quickly as possible, so we know it’s always a difficult game down there.

“It’s a tight pitch, they’ve got players that are very good on their home patch so it’s going to be a tough game but it’s one that we’re going into with confidence, so hopefully another three points in that group.”

All entry will be via the HOME turnstiles adjacent to the Clubhouse

Turnstile 4 has been set aside for away suppmters with digital tickets. Turnstile 2 will be in use as a limited cash gate. Please do not try and enter the ground via the Away turnstiles 5 and 6 as no access can be gained to the Ground from those turnstiles. Turnstiles will be open for spectator entry from 19:00 hrs.

Catering outlet and toilets will be available for use in the home concourse behind the covered terracing at the South end of the ground. Refreshments are available in the Clubhouse function room accessed via the home turnstile area before kick-off.

A limited walk-up ticket turnstile will be open in the arena on matchday from 19:15 hrs. No other ticket offices will be available.

Disabled access

Wheelchair access for away supporters is via the gate at the home turnstiles adjacent to the Clubhouse at the south end of the ground. Limited disabled parking is available on the small main car park at the South end of the ground. Please contact the club in advance of attending and every effort will be made to ensure you have a suitable parking arrangement. The cost of entry of 1 personal assistant is included in the p1ice of the concession ticket.

Specific advice for away fans in respect of condition of entry e.g. searching policy, unacceptable behaviour Annan Athletic have adopted a robust and thorough search policy for spectators entering the ground to ensure that ground rules and regulations are strictly adhered to, especially in relation to pyrotechnic devices and controlled containers. All bags will be searched and spectators presenting themselves for entry may also be subject to search. Spectators who refuse to be searched by stewards will be denied entry to the ground.

No persons will be admitted to the ground who are deemed to be under the influence of alcohol. This will be strictly enforced. Galabank is a non-smoking venue, this includes e cigarettes and other such devices. Stewards are empowered to eject spectators who disobey these rules.

All spectators are required to abide by our acceptable behavior policy.
