Stenhousemuir Football Club is delighted to confirm that Finn Robson has signed a contract extension, keeping him at Ochilview Park for the 2026/27 season.
Finn joined the Warriors in July 2025 and made his debut later that month against Greenock Morton in the Premier Sports Cup. Since then, the midfielder has gone on to make 23 appearances in maroon.
Manager Gary Naysmith said: “I am delighted that Finn is the latest player to sign an extension to his contract to remain with the club for next season.
“For the first part of this season I think that Finn showed that he is a very good all-round midfielder. He has very good technical ability, he wants to get on the ball, he is a fit boy and is not afraid to put in the hard work.
“Unfortunately for both Finn and ourselves, he sustained a serious hamstring injury that required surgery and he has only just returned to our matchday squad three or four weeks ago.
“Whilst we are still being careful with Finn regarding his matchday minutes, there is no doubt in my mind that he will still have an important part to play in our remaining games of this season, as well as being an important player for us next season.”
Chairman Dan Wharton added: “We’re really pleased to secure Finn’s future at the club. He’s a young player with excellent qualities and a strong attitude, and despite his injury setback, he has shown exactly what he can bring to the team. We’re looking forward to seeing him continue his development here at Stenhousemuir.”
Finn Robson added: “I’m delighted to sign for another year. It’s been frustrating with injury, but I’ve worked hard to get back fit and ready.
“I’ve felt part of the squad throughout, which says a lot about the group and why they’ve done so well. Excited to be involved for the remaining parts of this season and next season too.”
