The 29-year-old midfielder joined the Warriors in 2021, and went on to play 80 games, scored 14 goals and played a critical part in our League Two title-winning squad.

“Adam Brown has been a fantastic player for Stenhousemuir and his dedication to the club will be remembered by everyone at Ochilview.” Martin Christie, Head of Football Operations at Stenhousemuir said.

His most memorable season culminated in lifting the League Two trophy at Ochilview, securing promotion to League One and giving supporters memories that will last a lifetime.

“Adam was pivotal in delivering one of the greatest moments in this clubs history, lifting the League Two trophy and becoming champions. These memories won’t disappear and Adam had a vital contribution to that.” Christie added.

Stenhousemuir manager, Gary Naysmith said: “The approach from Stirling to speak to Adam about a permanent transfer only happened early on Friday afternoon. Although I was in no rush to lose Adam, and I stressed this to Adam when we spoke, I thought it was only right to give him permission to speak to Stirling and then for him to decide what he wanted to do, especially as he hadn’t been in the starting team for the majority of the games so far this season.

My phone call came as a complete shock to Adam but after speaking with myself, speaking with Alan Maybury and then speaking with his family, Adam made the tough decision that he would like to join Stirling Albion. This wasn’t an easy decision for Adam as he loved his time at the club but he felt that he wanted to go and have the chance to start games on a more regular basis and this was something that I understood completely.

I will be forever grateful to Adam for what he did for me during my spell as manager. He played a big part in our league success. Adam was a popular, well-liked person who will be missed by many around the club. However this is how football works. Nothing stands still, things move on and we wish Adam all the very best at Stirling. Not only have they got themselves a good player but they have got themselves an even better person who will always be welcome back at Ochilview.”

Thank you for your incredible dedication and contribution to Stenhousemuir, Adam. You leave Ochilview a hero, and will forever be welcomed back to Ochilview by Warriors.

Everyone associated with the club wish you all the best for your future.
