The club is delighted to announce the loan signing of youngster Finlay Allan.
The 18-year-old winger joins on a six-month loan from Dundee FC, and will be available for selection this weekend.
Finlay joined the Dundee Academy at the age of 13 and has worked closely with his coaches to land himself a deal with the Dundee development squad in 2022. He gained experience when playing for the under 18s before going out on loan to Forfar Athletic last season.
Gary Naysmith said, “I am pleased to announce Finlay Allan as the latest addition to our squad for the season ahead.
Finlay, who will initially join us on loan until January, is someone who first caught my eye when on loan at Forfar last season. After being made aware of his availability for the season ahead he was a player who I wanted to bring to the club, especially after speaking with Tony Docherty who rates Finlay highly. The deal was actually agreed a few weeks ago but we have had to wait a little tome to complete the deal as Finlay was recovering from a broken hand.
Finlay is an attacking wide player who can play on either side and is someone who will increase our attacking options at the front end of the pitch.”
Finlay made 15 appearances for Forfar Athletic last season and is aiming to continue his form at the Warriors. He will still line up for Dundee non-first team games, and compete in the Challenge Cup with ‘Dundee B’.
Please make sure you get behind our new signing and join us in welcoming Finlay to the club.
