Stenhousemuir stretch their unbeaten league streak to eight games as they grabbed all three points on a cold rainy Tuesday night at Ochilview Park.

Stenhousemuir got their first chance against the league leaders early on when Anderson broke forward from the middle of the park to play a great pass into Aitken, but his touch was just over run and was collected by the Peterhead keeper.

After a cagey start to the game Yates forced McKenzie into a save which gave the Warriors their first corner of the game, however nothing came from it.

Stenhousemuir’s first goal came after just 23 minutes in, when Anderson tapped in a pinpoint cross from Kinlay Bilham, for his first of the season. You can watch the opening goal here.

The Warriors continued on the front foot. Moments later, another chance falls to O’Reilly, who produces a chipped effort to try catch McKenzie off his line, but his shot is off target.

5 minutes after the first goal the Warriors doubled their lead through an absolute rocket of a shot. Adam Brown finds himself unmarked and unleashes a shot which fires into the top corner, a real goal of the season contender from Adam Brown, which you can view here.

Peterhead were trying to work their way back into the game and the visitors had a great chance to pull a goal back just before halftime, however they could only produce a long range effort, which was comfortably saved by Jamieson.

The referee blew for half time, with the Warriors in control.

The first chance of the second half came to Peterhead as O’Keefe tries a shot from long range, but the shot is well of target and does not threaten the keeper.

The Warriors then sought to get back on the front foot, with some excellent build up play between Aitken and Anderson. Aitken flicks a ball just over the back post which finds Yates who cuts inside but his curling effort is just wide of the post.

Peterhead looked to be slowly getting back into the game when Jamieson denied Shanks close range shot.

With full-time looming, the Warriors had a huge chance when Aitken was played through by a spectacular back-heel flick from Yates but his effort is prevented by McKenzie.

The fulltime whistle was blown meaning the Warriors had secured all three points in a fantastic showing against the league leaders Peterhead. Goals from Anderson and Brown help take Stenhousemuir level on points at the top with Peterhead only one goal separating both teams in the league.
