The Warriors return to action tomorrow as we host Peterhead at Ochilview. This is our first game since we drew with Clyde 2-2 at home 3 weeks ago. A postponement against Elgin and the SPFL Trust Trophy is the explanation.

Our opponents, Peterhead have played twice since the Warriors last kicked a ball in anger as they defeated Forfar 3-1 away from home, and also exited the SPFL Trust Trophy at the hands of Dundee United who defeated them 2-0 at the Balmoor Stadium.

Peterhead currently sit top of the league 2 table, 4 points ahead of ourselves in 3rd however we do have a game in hand on the away side.

Our record against the Aberdeenshire side has been positive with 16 wins, 9 draws and 14 defeats. Half of those wins have come at Ochilview.

The two sides met on the second game of the season up in Aberdeenshire where the game ended in a stalemate at 0-0. It was a game where two good defences were difficult to break down and neither side had enough attacking quality to get on the scoresheet. The Warriors had to see out the game with 10 men as Mikey Anderson picked up a second yellow card.

From the East
At Junction 7 of the M9 join the M876 going East bound towards Kincardine. At the end of the M876 take the third exit at the roundabout onto the A905. At the roundabout that is the junction with the A88, take the second exit onto the A88 (Bellsdyke Road). After around two miles turn left at the mini roundabout into Tryst Road for the ground.

Remember also to ignore the ‘football traffic’ signs around the area, as if you follow them you will eventually end up at Falkirks’ ground. Street parking.

The nearest railway station is Larbert, which is just under a mile away from Ochilview Park. As you come out of the station, bear left down the main (King Street) road in front of the station. Continue down Kings Road and you will reach the ground on the left.
