We would like to put on record our thanks to Ian Fitzpatrick who, due to work commitments, has this week stepped down from his role as Head Of Marketing and Communication with the club. Ian joined the Warriors in 2021 and has played a vital role in the club’s communication strategy during that time, growing our social media presence and winning many plaudits in the progress. Ian departs Ochilview with the best wishes of everyone at the club and we hope to see him back in the stands very soon.
Stepping up to the newly created role of Head of Media is Cameron McIntyre. Cammy is well-known around Ochilview having been the voice of Warriors TV and match announcer in recent years, as well as working alongside Ian Fitzpatrick with the social media coverage.
As we look to restructure the media team, we have some volunteer vacancies for you to get involved with the Warriors. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided and all roles can be shared as part of a rota so commitment to every match is not required.
VIDEOGRAPHER – Play a key part in keeping fans connected to their club through match highlights, as well as providing footage for the management team to review. This role involves filming and editing video footage of all our men’s first team matches. Camera equipment is provided.
PHOTOGRAPHER – Got an eye for a good photo? We are looking to add an extra club photographer to our matchday team. Working with our current photographer, Tom Frame, you’d create a rota to make sure all home and away matches are covered. You will need to have your own camera for this role.
STADIUM ANNOUNCER – Be the voice of Ochilview and help keep supporters informed with match action, half time scores and other important announcements on matchdays. You’ll also be responsible for the pre-match and half-time music.
All roles are voluntary, but expenses can be paid. If you are interested in joining our team or are looking for any extra details, please email cameron.mcintyre@stenhousemuirfc.com
