Last time out
Brechin City 0-1 Warriors
The Warriors rounded off the season with a 1-0 win away to bottom side Brechin City. It was a game that the boys dominated from the start, coming close to scoring on numerous occasions and really should have been in the lead before half time. The second half started no different, with the Warriors firmly on top but wasteful in front of goal. As the half went on, our hosts did begin to come into the game and registered a couple shots on target which were easily saved by Paddy Martin. The breakthrough did finally come for the Warriors in the 80th minute when Martin Sheils broke away down the left hand side before firing a low ball across the Brechin 6 yard box, which was turned home by Mark McGuigan. The result means that we pip Albion Rovers to 6th place in the league, after their 2-0 defeat to Cowdenbeath.

Warriors 0-1 Albion Rovers
The Warriors failed to get a win in our final home league match of the season as we were defeated 1-0 by Albion Rovers. The match proved to be a tight one, with chances coming at both ends. Thomas Collins came the closest for the Warriors on a number of occasions, however Stone in the Rovers net was able to keep him out. The decisive goal came in the 31st minute, as a miss-hit cross rebounded off the Warriors back post and fell to an unmarked Matthew Aitkin, who made no mistake with the finish.
The latest from within your club
The playing season may have come to a close for the Warriors, however there is still plenty going on inside the club in the coming weeks to keep you all updated on. Inside Ochilview is the place to be for staying updated on all the latest developments as they happen. Inside Ochilview will also continue over the course of the close season to ensure that supporters never feel out of the loop.

Football’s social media blackout is now over, but what happens next?
Last weekend, the Warriors joined other football clubs and organisations in participating in a social media blackout. The aim of the blackout was to put pressure on social media companies to do more to keep online spaces safe and free from racial abuse. But what happens next? And what can we all do to fasten the pace of change? Follow the link below to read more:
