Stenhousemuir Football Club can announce that Davie Irons will take interim charge of the Warriors in the wake of the departure of Colin McMenamin.

Davie knows the club extremely well having previously served as manager and assistant manager.

Chairman Iain McMenemy said, “Davie will be well known to Warriors supporters.  He has a great affinity for the club and we are delighted that he has agreed to come in on an interim basis until a permanent manager is appointed.  Davie will be supported in the role by the existing team of coaches and senior squad members.”

Davie has previously been Manager of Gretna, Morton, and of course Stenhousemuir.

He will take training on Thursday and be in charge for the match against Brechin on Saturday.
