Meet the Warriors latest signing- Aberdeen FC and Scottish youth international Sebastian Ross signs on loan for the season

Stenhousemuir Football Club is delighted to welcome Sebastian Ross on loan from Premiership side Aberdeen FC.

Ross has signed on loan for the season and will join the squad for training tonight. After an impressive season within the Development League scoring 12 goals Ross was named U20 Player of the Year for the Don’s. The 18 year old attacking midfielder has also played for Scotland at youth level. Sebastian will train with his parent club Monday to Wednesday before travelling down to Ochilview for Thursday evening sessions and weekend games.

Brown Ferguson commented,

‘The Club approached Aberdeen several weeks back to ask about Sebastian who we identified as a key target player for season 2018-19. We are really pleased to secure Seb for the season, he is a player we have watched for both Aberdeen and Scotland. He is a young exciting player with a bright future and I feel he is a player that the fan’s will enjoy watching. He is highly regarded by Aberdeen and well thought of within the Scottish FA youth programme. He has the potential to both create and score goals, he is constantly looking to play forward and support the play. Seb met the players on Saturday and is back in tonight for training’

Seb Ross said he is delighted to join the Warriors,

‘League one will be tough but it is what I need at this stage of my career. The club got promoted last year so they are a club on the up. Everyone made my welcome when I was down on Saturday so I can’t wait to get started and get a few games under my belt’

Warriors fan’s can hopefully see Seb in action on Tuesday night as we entertain Hamilton. Kick off at Ochilview is 7.30pm
