Player Update – 16 May 2017
The Manager, Brown Ferguson, is already hard at work building and shaping a new team for the 2017/18 season.
The club would ask fans to bear with us as negotiations with players takes place. As is his normal practice, the Manager is committed to meeting all players in the current squad on an individual face to face basis to discuss the position for the season ahead.
New signing:
The club would like to welcome Mark McGuigan to Stenhousemuir. Mark has agreed terms with the club and will be joining us from Stranraer FC. Mark plays up front and is a welcome new addition to the squad.
Other comings and goings:
The club can confirm that the following players will be leaving Stenhousemuir:
- Liam McMaster
- Paul Nash
- Calum Runciman
- Grant Hamilton
- Liam McCroary
- Jamie McCormack
- Mark Gilhaney (retired)
Each of these players contributed to the squad last season and deserve our thanks for all their efforts. We wish them all the best for the future.
Players offered terms:
Brown Ferguson has offered a number of current players new contracts, and he is in discussion with a number of potential new signings. Further details will be announced as soon as we have confirmation. The club website will be the only official resource for signing news and we will use social media to alert fans to any news.
