Forth Valley Football Academy
• To provide cover for 1 or 2 games per weekend
• Opportunity of additional games at weekends and midweek
• Physiotherapists are paid per game plus travel to any away games
The Forth Valley Football Academy (FVFA) is in the process of recruiting suitably qualified physiotherapists and/or sports therapists to provide match day cover for weekend games. The FVFA is the first regional elite football academy in Scotland compromising a partnership between Falkirk FC, Stenhousemuir FC, East Stirlingshire FC, The Scottish FA and Stirling University.
The Academy provides training, sports science and medical provision for talented young players from the ages of U10-17. The Academy is a 4 star ‘elite’ level academy that participate in the Club Academy Scotland elite games programme- The highest level of youth football in Scotland.
The suitable individual will ideally meet all of the following person specifications;
1. Must be qualified and HCPC and/or Sports Therapist qualified/registered
2. Experience of working with young people
3. An interest in football
4. A flexible approach to working, games on a rota basis
The academy is therefore seeking applications from enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with a real desire to support the medical provision of young people in a football environment.
Individuals will be subject to a PVG check
