The season starts now! Season 2016/17 kicks-off tonight at Ochilview, at least in terms of the start of pre-season training.
This vital part of the process of getting match ready starts on Monday 20th June and Brown Ferguson's team will be in after a short layoff to be put through their paces.
Brown's 2016/17 team contnues to take shape, with a core of last year's players committed to Ochilview for another season, alongside some new faces as well.
Jim Paterson and Stephen Stirling have agreed new deals since the last update.
A new face is Vincent Berry, a centre midfielder who has joined Stenhousemuir from Queen's Park.
Terms have also been agreed with Celtic FC for a loan deal with Colin McCabe. As fans will know, Colin joined us for part of last season and impressed. Negotiations are nearing completion on a new centre back and it is hoped the deal will be concluded this week. There are a further couple of deals to be completed over the next couple of weeks.
