Our Over 50s Walking Football group attended the Scottish Walking Football Network Festival at Ainslie Park, Spartans FC, on Sunday 7 June.
Teams as far north as Inverness and as far south as Newcastle took part in the festival, with over 20 teams participating.
Paul Wilson, Adult Programme Coordinator and Senior Community Coach had this to say about the event: "We played 6 games on the day, winning 2, drawing 2 and losing 2. The guys had a great time and due to contacts made we are lining up more fixtures in the coming months."
Our Walking Football sessions take place at Ochilview Park on Monday mornings from 10-11am and Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm. The first session is free then the cost is £2.50 per person per session thereafter.
