Stenhousemuir Boys Club player Jay Kennedy recently won a fantastic opportunity which all young players would only dream of doing!

He was entered into a competition to become a mascot at the Manchester City v CSKA Moscow Champions League match!!! Jay had to be at the stadium for 5pm where they were met by escorts and Manchester City officials.

The children were taken into a lounge where they got something to eat and a goody bag with their kit, hat etc.

They then carried out a practice run of going out of the tunnel and lining up on the pitch.

After this there was a firework display at the ground that they were taken to and then they went on to meet the players coming of their team buses.

While waiting for the players they watched the other Champions League match in the lounge and played with Match Attack cards that they were given.

Then when the players were ready they lined up in the tunnel and the players line up beside them, Jay was with the CSKA Moscow midfielder Pontus Wernbloom (number 3).

Jay is a goal keeper he was overwhelmed when Joe Hart shook his hand!

This was a priceless experience and it is something Jay will remember for the rest of his life.
