Stenhousemuir return to Ochilview on tomorrow, and they take on Peterhead in the cinch league two and the Warriors can take one big step towards glory.

The Warriors will be hoping to build on the 1-1 draw against Forfar in a match which was pretty much a non-event. James Berry opened the scoring in the first half, however his goal was cancelled out late on in the second half by Adam Hutchinson for Forfar.

Gary Naysmith, who signed a two-year contract extension keeping him at the club until 2026, previewed tomorrow’s match saying “There’s not much between the teams, we’ve maybe just had a bit more consistency. We have a good home record, so we’ll focus on the positives and go into the match and look forward to a good game next week. “

James Berry also previewed the match saying, “Every game has been difficult, the league is tight, everyone can beat everyone, but it will be a big crowd and hopefully we can get the three points in front of them.”

Stenhousemuir have met Peterhead three times this season and all of the encounters have been very even. The two sides played out a 0-0 draw at Balmoor on the second game week of the season.

The two sides then met at Ochilview where the Warriors won 2-0 thanks to a Mikey Anderson goal and an Adam Brown wonder strike.

Peterhead then ended Stenhousemuir’s 12 game winning run up in Peterhead 2-1 with Hamish Ritchie scoring a brace in between a Gregor Buchanan header.

Peterhead have only won once since the last meeting in January, and it came against Stranraer two weeks ago. The Blue Toon drew their last game against East Fife at home 1-1.

Stenhousemuir edge the head-to-head record with 17 wins to Peterhead’s 15. There have also been nine draws. The Warriors have won nine of those wins at Ochilview.
