We’re pleased to welcome Danny Jardine to the squad on a short-term deal until January 2024.
Gary spoke to the website today on his latest addition to the Stenhousemuir squad.
“Danny is an energetic midfield player who I know well having worked with him during my spell at Edinburgh City. After returning from a short break in America, Danny has been in working hard with Seamus and Michael over the last 7 or 8 weeks as he completed the final stages of his recovery from the ACL injury he sustained whilst at Edinburgh.
“In the last couple of weeks Danny has returned to full training with the squad as well as playing 45 minutes against Boness in our closed door friendly.
We are not expecting miracles from Danny as he still has a little bit to go in terms of regaining full fitness but we feel that by giving him a short term deal until January, it not only allows him the time to regain full fitness but it also gives us another good option in midfield to add to the squad for the next couple of months”
Danny and fellow new signing Zak will join the squad for Tuesday’s trip to Elgin, with only Ross Taylor missing out through injury.
