National Trust for Scotland- Our latest Warriors 11 member
Stenhousemuir Football Club CIC is pleased to welcome the National Trust for Scotland as our latest Warriors 11 member. NTS ‘protect over 100 treasured places in Scotland, for now and for the centuries to come’. The Pineapple, Culross, Alloa Tower, the House of Binns and Bannockburn Heritage Centre are all on our door step with hundreds more to explore elsewhere in Scotland.
Stuart Maxwell, General Manager for the National Trust for Scotland explained his reasons for supporting the club;
‘ The National Trust for Scotland exists to care for and also promote Scotland’s heritage. It is a vital part of our work that we share the wonders of Scotland with the local community and most importantly with tomorrow’s generation. Stenhousemuir FC are the perfect partner for us as we see them as a club at the heart of the community and the work they do ties in with our aims and objectives too.”
The partnership will see Warriors in the Community members given vouchers and promotions to experience everything the many magnificent places have to offer.
CEO Jamie Swinney commented;
‘It is a privilege to be working in partnership with an organisation that promotes our country and provides opportunities, experience and education for so many young people and their families to explore Scotland’s best sites. The NTS, similar to the club puts a real focus on the local community and is therefore a an excellent and fitting Warriors partner. I would like to thank Stuart and his team for backing the Warriors and contributing to the growth and development of Stenhousemuir FC’
NTS will also be the match sponsor for the home game vs Forfar on 20th April 2019.
