Gordon Thompson, the Chairman of Stenhousemuir Football Club has today sent a 'good luck' message to our football neighbours and Forth Valley Football Academy partners Falkirk FC, for their Scottish Cup Final match this weekend.
The message reads:-
On behalf of everyone at Stenhousemuir Football Club, we’d like to wish you every success in the Scottish Cup Final this weekend.
Whilst we will always enjoy the friendly local rivalry that exists between our clubs and helps create some memorable matches between us, this can easily be put to the side this Saturday when Falkirk takes on Inverness in what we are sure will be an exciting final. It can only be good news for football throughout the Forth Valley when a local team makes it to a major final.
We hope you are able to bring the trophy back to Falkirk, but win or lose, it will be a wonderful occasion for everyone involved and we wish you, your fellow Board members, the management & team, and all fans, the very best of luck.
