Forth Valley Football Academy- Elite Children’s Coach required
Forth Valley Football Academy (FVFA) was established in July 2013 as the first regional academy in Scotland. The Academy compromises a partnership between the Scottish FA, Falkirk Football Club, Stenhousemuir Football Club and East Stirlingshire Football Club.
The FVFA is currently looking for a suitably qualified and experienced coach to help take the U11 (2003) age group for training and matches. The squad trains on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings with games on Saturday morning/afternoon with the players competing within the top tier of Scottish youth football.
Required
Scottish FA Level 4 Children’s Award
Experience of working with and leading talented players at the U10-U12 age group
Commitment to three nights per week and a Saturday games programme
Own transport to allow for travel to away games
Enthusiasm, good manner, reliability, strong communication skills
Ability to start immediately
Desirable
Scottish FA Level 5 Advanced Children’s Licence
Experience of working within an academy structure/environment
Up to date Sports First Aid and Child Protection qualification
Coaches receive a part-time monthly payment (amount subject to qualification and experience).
