At training, last night, Goalkeeper, Callum Reidford, hung up his goalie gloves with the Warriors, Callum starts a new job which requires him to work on a Saturday.
The club would like to wish Callum all the best in his new job.
As has been widely reported we have signed two players, St. Mirren keeper, Chris Smith to fill the goalkeeping vacancy that now exists. Chris will be with us for the remainder of the season, we have also signed, defender, Nicky Devlin on loan from Motherwell for the remainder of the season. This is Nicky’s 2nd spell with the club and we are delighted to welcome him back.
Last night the club signed 6ft 2ins striker, Salim Kouider-Aissa (17) on his release by Motherwell.
The 17 year old is likely to be included in Saturday’s squad against Albion Rovers.
Other Player news, midfielder, Craig Anderson, has gone out on loan to East of Scotland League side, Craigroyston, for the rest of this season in an attempt to regain fitness after only recently recovering from a serious illness that has kept him away from Ochilview since the middle of February, we wish Craig a speedy recovery to fitness and return to the club.
Player, Jack Hamilton, has been loaned out to East Stirlingshire for the rest of the season to gain 1st team experience. The club wishes Jack well during his time with “The Shire”.
