The club signed two new players last night and re-signed a third.

We can confirm that players Bryan Hodge and Scot Buist have agreed terms with Manager Davie Irons and that Alan Lawson has re-signed for another season.

Midfielder, Bryan Hodge(24), had previously been signed with Blackburn Rovers as a youth player and was loaned out to Mansfield, Millwall and Darlington respectively. He the played 45, 1st team games with Partick Thistle before moving on to Brechin City at the start of last season where he played 24, 1st Team games.

Defender, Scot Buist  (27), started of his football career at Stenhousemuir in the youth programme. He joined Alloa Athletic at the beginning season 2007/08 and played 73, 1st team games over the next two seasons. He then signed for Stirling Albion playing 26 games in the process. At the beginning of last season he signed for Brechin City playing in 30, 1st team matches.

We are delighted that Alan Lawson(18) has re-signed for the coming season. This will be Alan’s 4th season at the club having come through our youth system. Alan has played for the Scottish Schools U18’s team for the previous 2 seasons captaining his country last season.

This brings the total number of 1st Team squad players signed or re-signed for next season to eleven.

The manager stated that he is delighted with the way his squad is coming together.

He still has several players on his radar and is closing in on bringing them to the club.
