At the Annual General Meeting of SFC on Monday, the club’s shareholders heard that the conversion of the club to a CIC had been accepted by the Registrar of Companies. SFC is the first football league club in Scotland to do this and probably the first in the UK. The reason for this conversion is that the club wished to safeguard its assets, the future of the club, and declare its full commitment to the local community.
