Grant Findlay, pictured above, has been appointed as our new Community Officer and has recently taken up the post.
 
Grant has been working as a Community Coach with the club for two years under the watchful eye of Stevie Ferguson, working as a coach with U9’s Community-select Team, Soccer Centres, After Schools classes, Midnight & Twilight Leagues, Soccer Tots as well as working with Disability Football & our Performance Teams.
 
He was previously working as a coach with the SFA.
 
He also has numerous SFA and English FA coaching qualifications, Early Touches, Soccer Camp Coaches, Goalkeeping Intermediate Certificate, Physical Preparation, Coaching in the game, Coaching footballers with Disabilities.
 
He is currently studying for the UEFA Basic Licence, Advanced Children’s Licence and Goalkeeping Licence.
 
He has an HND in Sports Coaching with Sports Development (Football Studies), BA Sports Studies, MSc Sports Coaching
 
Grant has also written an Honours Dissertation on the benefits of small-sided games for young football players.
