With all still to battle for in our march towards a play-off place the Warriors head to Dumfries to take on Queen of the South.

Last weekend the Warriors took a deserved point from Inverness and are looking to bring the same drive and determination to their final away game of the season- a game that could clinch a play-off place.

Not only are the Warriors aiming to end their final away day of the season with three points, but they’ll been keen to register their first ever away victory over Queen of the South.

This weekend it is not only the Warriors who are vying for a play-off place. The Doonhamers also have their eyes firmly set on retaining their place in the play-offs. Given their recent form of four wins from five games, the Warriors will have to bring their A- game on Saturday.

With all to play for who will emerge victorious?

The sides have previously met three times this season- with the Warriors bagging the latest win in this fixture. Alston and O’Donnell were both on the scoresheet last time out, with two first half goals assuming a Warriors’ win.

The last time we took on Queen of the South away was prior to Christmas and the hosts started off strongly, sending the Warriors back home with no points. The only solace the Warriors could take on this occasion was that fron man O’Donnell was on the score sheet.

The Warriors are still searching for their first win in five games and with an occasion as considerable as this one, the team will be keen to give the travelling support something to cheer about.
