Stenhousemuir FC is delighted to confirm that goalkeeper Yan Gromov has signed a contract extension, keeping him at Ochilview Park until January.
Back in July 2025, we welcomed Yan on a short-term deal, impressed by his clean-sheet record, commanding presence, and ball?playing ability during his time at Stirling University and Cumbernauld CFC.
His integration into the squad has been seamless, and he’s continued to impress both in training and in action, particularly throughout the KDM Trophy.
Martin Christie, Head of Football Operations, said: “We’re delighted that Yan has now signed a deal until January. He has integrated very well with the squad and has shown up well in the games he’s played in so far in the KDM Trophy. He will provide solid competition to Darren while Curtis continues his rehabilitation and we look forward to working with him between now and January.”
With Curtis still working his way back to full fitness, Yan’s extension brings essential depth and quality between the sticks. His dedication and performances have demonstrated that he’s more than capable of stepping up when called upon.
