
The Stirlingshire FA is delighted to confirm the arrangements for this year’s cup competition. The Stirlingshire Cup is one of the oldest competitions in world football and one of the only ones to still be using the original trophy. Following on from the success of last seasons competition, the 6 member clubs have agreed to keep the format similar, with a move towards a pre-season competition.
The Stirlingshire Cup 2025-26
The two group stages will take place on Saturday 21st June with Group A games at Ochilview Park, Stenhousemuir and Group B games at the Falkirk Stadium. The fixture details are as follows;
Group A
10.00 am – Stenhousemuir vs Dumbarton
12.00 noon – Stirling Albion vs Dumbarton
2.00 pm – Stenhousemuir vs Stirling Albion
Group B
10.00 am – Falkirk vs Alloa Athletic
12.00 noon – Alloa Athletic vs East Stirlingshire
2.00 pm – Falkirk vs East Stirlingshire
Group games will be 60 minutes in duration with penalty kicks taking place in the event of a draw. The winner of each group will then meet in the final at the Falkirk Stadium on Tuesday 24th June 7.45pm.
Supporters can watch all 3 groups games, at either venue for the cost of 1 admission with £10, concessions £5 and U12s free. Each club will issue details on how to purchase tickets separately.
The Stirlingshire FA wishes to thank the notes of interest it has received from other local clubs wishing to join the competition. Further consideration will be given to the possible expansion of the competition when reviewing this years competition.
