The Academy has recently been training with the coaches from The Golden Gloves Boxing Club in Kilsyth.
Every Tuesday the Academy players are put through their paces in the gym by resident coaches Frankie and Jim.
The boys work on balance, footwork, upper body strength as well as confidence during the session which has been a great hit and welcomed by all.
The Under 11s are pictured working on "core" body strength and at the end of a session amongst the punch bags with the coaches.
Head of Academy Aidan Robertson explained that the boys have welcomed the different approach to their development and embraced the challenges set down by the coaches.
Aidan stated he would like to thank the Golden Gloves Boxing Club Board for accepting our Academy players into their club and also thanked coaches Frankie and Jim for their expertise and commitment to our club.
