 Warriors Scorers:- Love, Dickson.

The Warriors suffered a setback in their second league match as they went down 3 – 2 at home against Dumbarton.
They found themselves two down after 25 minutes but managed to claw themselves level before the break.
Despite dominating the 2nd half, they lost a sloppy third goal after an hour.
The boys didn’t start the match well and it was no surprise that in the 15th minute the visitors took a deserved lead. A cross from the right found the striker unmarked and he finished with ease beyond keeper James McLennan.
It became 2 – 0 just before the half hour when again a cross from the right caused panic and the defender shot home from close range.
This seemed to spur Stenhousemuir and pulled one back when Stuart Love capitalised on slack defender.
Just before the break it was all square and deservedly so. A sweeping move that started with a throw out by keeper McLellan eventually found its way to Man of the Match Grant Plenderleith who crossed for Sean Dickson to slam high into the net.
The home side dominated for long periods after the break with Plenderleith, skipper Mickey Hunter and Love all missing great opportunities.
This would prove costly as Dumbarton’s only chance of the half produced the winner after the Warriors defence were caught static and their midfielder crept in to fire past substitute keeper Sean Diamond.
On another day the side won’t play as well but gain the vital points.
