Stenhousemuir Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Miller Thomson from Dundee United on loan until January.
The 22-year-old brings experience across the Premiership, Championship and League One, having progressed through Dundee United’s academy and represented Scotland at Under-21 level. Primarily a winger, Miller can play in several positions, providing added versatility to Marvin Bartley’s squad.
Miller made his senior debut for United aged 17 against Celtic in the Scottish Cup in March 2022, before making his first start against St Mirren just five days later.
A productive loan spell at Montrose followed in 2023, where he scored three goals in 12 league appearances. He returned to Tannadice midway through the 2023/24 season and became a regular starter as United secured the Championship title and promotion to the Premiership. He signed a new three-year contract in June 2024, extending his stay until summer 2027.
He scored his first United goal in the Dundee derby in August 2024 before joining Falkirk on loan in February 2025. Miller made nine league appearances as the Bairns secured the Championship title, giving him experience of successive promotion-winning campaigns.
He subsequently featured for United in UEFA Conference League qualifying and joined Ross County on loan in September 2025, adding further Championship experience.
Manager Marvin Bartley said: “We’re really happy to have got Miller’s signing over the line as we put the final part of the puzzle in place.
“He’s someone I was aware of before his injury, and we’ve been keeping in contact with Dundee United since his return. He’s comfortable playing in our shape and can cover a couple of positions, which gives us options.
“Thanks to Dundee United for trusting us with one of their young players, and also to Martin for being on the other end of the phone and helping get everything sorted before the deadline. I think we had about five seconds to spare!”
Everyone at Stenhousemuir welcomes Miller to Ochilview and wishes him every success with the Warriors.
