Congratulations to our Girls Coordinator Fiona Brown on her move to Eskilstuna United, in Sweden. Having played against this team in the Uefa Champions League this year, Fiona has been asked to sign as a professional footballer and we are delighted for her. This is something Fiona has worked towards for a long time and although it is a loss to our girls programme, we want to wish her all the best in the next chapter of her career. Fiona will remain involved in the programme as much as possible and has assured the club she will visit when she’s home!

‘I am gutted to have to give up my position at Stenhousemuir FC, but this is an opportunity I cannot turn down. I’ve learned a lot in my short time here and worked with some amazing people! The girl’s academy has so much potential I am really excited to see where it goes from here! I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the parents and coaches for their support and dedication this year- you’ve made my life a lot easier! I’d also like to thank the girls for their commitment and effort, you’ve been brilliant and there’s a bright future in the game for all of you!

Lastly, I’d like to thank Will, your guidance and expertise has been so valuable and made my job run a lot more smoothly, however please work on that left foot for my next visit! I will still be involved as much as possible, and definitely will be keeping a close eye on things! I will see you all on my visits home I’m sure!

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year, I’m excited for the next chapter in my career, as well as the next chapter in all of yours! Thanks for everything!’
