It was confirmed at a recent Board meeting that Manager, Davie Irons, was given wholehearted support by the Board of Directors for the work that he has started since joining the club at the beginning of January and that irrespective of which division the club is playing in next season he has been confirmed in his post as Manager.
The Chairman stated that when Davie was offered the managerial position he was told that his first priority was to try and keep the club in the 2nd division. He went on to say that the Board of Directors have been impressed by the way Davie has approached the job under difficult circumstances and they felt that he was the right person to take the club forward.
He also said the club looks forward to Davie having a growing success and a lengthy involvement with the club.
